Bright Computing to Present on Ceph at OpenStack Summit, Barcelona 

Oct. 24 -- Bright Computing, the leading provider of hardware-agnostic cluster and cloud management software, today announced that the company has been selected to give a presentation at OpenStack Summit in Barcelona, October 25-28, 2016.

Bright Computing’s Cloud Integration Lead, Piotr Wachowicz, will present in the How To And Best Practices track, on Ceph OSD hardware - a pragmatic guide.

In the session, delegates will learn what to consider when creating a Ceph cluster, and the common problems to be aware of. Piotr Wachowicz will explain Ceph benchmarking and profiling, discuss fat nodes versus thin nodes, and look at the sweet spot between storage density, price, and performance.

Bright will send its full team of cloud technology experts to the event, accompanied by Bright’s CTO, Martijn de Vries, to meet with customers and partners, and to pick up on the latest trends in the OpenStack community.
