Clemens Engler Joins Bright Computing 

June 22 -- Bright Computing, the leader in high performance infrastructure management solutions for cloud, big data and HPC, today announced that Clemens Engler has joined the company to lead business development across the regions of EuropeMiddle East and Africa.

Mr. Engler brings a wealth of enterprise experience to Bright, spanning research and development, marketing, partner development, as well as sales and sales management.

Prior to joining Bright, Mr. Engler provided business development expertise to a number of software companies in Germany. Previously, Mr. Engler worked in IBM's ISV and Developer Relations team as Partner Executive and Cloud Leader in Europe and Germany, and also held the role of CTO at IBM EMEA Venture Development; a team responsible for building, growing and maintaining IBM's relationships with Venture Capitalists across the Region.

During this period, Mr. Engler was a SaaS Evangelist, supporting software companies in their transition to the new cloud-based business model; a completely new business paradigm and innovation space for software companies at that time. Mr. Engler also initiated the German Cloud Ecosystem e.V; a federation for people and companies doing business in the SaaS and cloud space. Today, the cloud ecosystem has today approximately 60 company members, including Alcatel-Lucent, Deutsche Telekom, and T-Systems.
