Electric Cloud Unveils ElectricFlow

Electric Cloud today announced ElectricFlow, a family of Continuous Delivery applications. ElectricFlow, built on the highly scalable ElectricCommander DevOps process automation platform, automates build, test and deployment activities, eliminating software delivery bottlenecks and providing real-time visibility. For organizations developing mobile, embedded systems and enterprise web/IT applications, it makes software delivery repeatable at scale, and as routine as pushing a button.

ElectricFlow features a new deployment automation application called Deploy that automates and standardizes software deployments throughout the delivery process. It features a model-based approach that allows teams to centrally define and manage application and environment details to reduce delivery cost, increase quality and accelerate time-to-market. Built from the ground up to be mobile ready, Deploy provides an intuitive, easy-to-use way to manage application deployments.

“We designed ElectricFlow to automate Continuous Delivery from code check-in to production release,” said Steve Brodie, CEO of Electric Cloud. “With ElectricFlow Deploy, we make deployment automation push button, easy to use and predictable, so developers and IT managers can focus on delivering great software that is ‘release ready’ when the business needs it.”

Electric Cloud helps software organizations build better software faster through the Continuous Delivery application automation process. Often referred to as the “new Agile,” Continuous Delivery drives strategic value through more frequent, predictable and higher quality software releases. It directly addresses the reliability and risk issues of releasing software faster within increasingly complex environments, and helps organizations embrace constant change and respond better to business issues by releasing applications quickly.

With ElectricFlow, software organizations have a proven, integrated solution to add an automation layer to DevOps initiatives. Developers, testers and IT operations have improved collaboration through a centralized platform that accelerates quality code builds, feedback loops and application delivery, along with complete visibility and governance needed to manage high-volume and complex development environments. Its built-in inventory management provides a centralized console that allows team members to track artifacts, code changes and bug fixes across QA, staging and production.

“For enterprise Agile and DevOps initiatives to delivery strategic value it is imperative that automated Continuous Delivery programs can manage the increasing complexity of modern software delivery,” said Rohit Jainendra, chief product officer for Electric Cloud. “Working closely with global customers and partners, we designed ElectricFlow and the Deploy application to bring a unified approach to build, test and deployment. Having these capabilities within a single solution is an industry breakthrough and a prelude to new innovations being developed here at Electric Cloud.”
