Xilinx Welcomes Hasmukh Ranjan as Chief Information Officer 

July 1, 2020 — Xilinx announced the addition of Hasmukh Ranjan under the role of chief information officer. In an announcement posted below, Xilinx welcomed Hasmukh to the team. He will be responsible for managing the company’s information technology group.


We are delighted to announce that Hasmukh Ranjan has joined Xilinx as Chief Information Officer (CIO). As CIO, Hasmukh will lead Xilinx’s world-class information technology group, and drive our internal IT strategy, systems, and processes in support of our mission to Build the Adaptable, Intelligent World.

Hasmukh is joining Xilinx from Synopsys, where he served as the company’s CIO and Corporate Vice President of IT. During his 20+ year tenure at Synposys, Hasmukh received a “Top 500” supercomputing rank, implemented private cloud computing for engineering, embraced multi-core technology, and implemented a distributed processing library. He also led several corporate initiatives for new license and revenue models, managed system integration for mergers and acquisitions, as well as process transformations, and was the driver for the company’s machine learning and cloud initiatives.

While holding various senior leadership positions, Hasmukh became a member of the Synopsys Foundation Board and spearheaded several worldwide philanthropic initiatives.

With his global experience and perspective, he’ll further our corporate-wide growth in information technology, infrastructure solutions, information security, data and analytics, and workforce productivity. Hasmukh will be located at our headquarters in San Jose, Calif.
