Datadog Announces Integration With OpenStack 

NEW YORK, N.Y., Dec. 15 -- Datadog, the leading SaaS-based monitoring platform for cloud applications, today announced its integration with OpenStack. Datadog’s new OpenStack monitoring features offer customers the ability to easily monitor the health and performance of their OpenStack infrastructure, as well applications that run on it.

Enhancing OpenStack Visibility

The new Datadog integration with OpenStack can be setup in minutes to automatically:

• Debug performance and availability issues with services in the control plane such as Nova, Neutron and Keystone APIs;
• Discover Neutron-managed virtual machines to monitor their performance and availability;
• Measure performance of Nova hypervisors and available compute resources;
• Allow administrators to track and alert on capacity metrics like tenant quota usage;
• Correlate OpenStack performance with 100+ other turnkey integrations with most modern application components.
