Open Source Storage Joins OpenStack Foundation 

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 17 -- Open Source Storage announces that it has joined the OpenStack Foundation. Joining the OpenStack Foundation furthers the commitment to open cloud standards by Open Source Storage. With key projects selected for technology disruption and seamless open source integration into products and end to end solutions, Open Source Storage broadens its offerings and support services to clients by further enforcing its solutions strategy. As the visionary and creator of the Open Source Storage movement, Eren Niazi, Founder & CEO of Open Source Storage, will leave product and solution source code open and unlocked to drive change and encourage the evolution of technologies. OpenStack’s vast collection of interrelated projects have the ability to work together and control many aspects of the data center such as storage, networking, and compute.

Patrick Willis has been appointed as a Board Member less than a year after joining the company as a result of his hard work.
