DataCenter Insights Summit 2014 Set for Early November

nGage Events today announced the DataCenter Insights Summit (DCI), heading into its second year, will be held November 3 - 5 at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.  The 2013 DataCenter Insights Summit was a major success for both sponsors and attendees.  DCI is a premier, enterprise-focused summit for companies serious about transforming their IT to meet today and tomorrow’s data center challenges.  The main theme of the event is "Transformation: Developing & Sustaining Change in the Data Center."

The DCI Summit will once again be lead by conference chair Jerry Murphy, Global Director for Cognizant.  “Data Center Executives want to put theory into practical use.  Data Center Insights provides a tremendous venue where busy IT executives can share with each other their challenges, ideas, and practices they have used to turn great ideas into reality.”

DCI executive attendees will once again learn from top industry experts and their peers in keynote sessions, end user panels, fireside chats, and breakout sessions throughout the 3-day program.  A team of leading industry experts from IDC, Forrester Research and Robert Frances Group will again join conference Chair Jerry Murphy of Cognizant.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with and listen to focused case studies from leading data center solutions providers.

“DCI was an excellent event that brought together industry leading analysts, large enterprise end users and detailed case studies. A definite must attend for anyone looking to make a paradigm shift in 2014 in the way they operate their IT environment,” commented Robert DeVita, General Manager, Cologix.

“I found the event very useful and a great of use of my time. I got a good picture of where data center technology is going and also found the right people to help solve some issues that we are facing right now,” stated Ted Maulucci, CIO, Tridel Corporation.

DCI is a world-class, three-day networking and business information exchange where a limited number of guests from leading enterprises and data center organizations are invited.  The unique format provides sponsors with boardroom meetings, case studies, and 1:1 meetings with executives intimately involved with data center strategy, purchasing authority, and purchasing intent across major industry verticals.

“DCI 2013 was a resounding success!  VMware was able to meet with key people at many companies in a 1:1 setting, which is ideal when coupled with keynotes, panels and networking events.  This holistic, balanced method makes this a unique and particularly beneficial summit.  Subsequent conversations with attendees are underway, and we expect to realize not only excellent ROI from our sponsorship, but also begin or solidify relationships with the companies with whom we met,” stated Sudhir Balasubramanian, Technical Solution Architect – Oracle SME, VMware.

DCI 2013 sponsors were thrilled with the quality of attendees, stating that they were meeting with qualified decision makers who were looking to make purchases, some closing contracts at the event.  The event format not only provided sponsors with pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings and case studies, but over the course of the 2.5 days they get to know every attendee on a first name basis.

“DCI was the most valuable event for ITWatchDogs, allowing us to connect on a personal level with the top IT executives across a diverse set of industries.  An event alive with insightful conversations, fun people and an awesome venue, not to mention the great ROI! Highly recommended,” commented Mo Sheikh, Sales & Marketing Manager, ITWatchDogs.

DCI organizers nGage Events are excited to see the event grow in 2014. “DCI is different from traditional conferences and trade shows.  For DCI sponsors it removes the ROI unknown that comes with traditional events and the uncertainty around how many qualified leads the event will generate.  For attendees it’s a cost effective and productive way to learn from top industry experts about trends/issues in their specific market, network with peers, and understand the solutions that can address their organizations specific business requirements.  We were pleased with the 2013 results and attendees and sponsors are already committing to our 2014 event,” said Philip McKay, President & CEO, nGage Events.
