Line Systems and Xand Team Up

Line Systems, in partnership with Xand, today announced the launch of Colocation, Managed Hosting, and Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) off the Line Systems network backbone. Xand’s six enterprise hosting datacenters strategically located in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast corridor are now on-line and part of the LSI robust network platform providing a seamless migration of colocation, hosting services, and cloud infrastructure services for customers looking to move beyond their current datacenter resources or planning to insert redundancy measures into their disaster recovery strategy.

“Colocation, Managed Hosting, and IaaS are a perfect complement to our comprehensive suite of network services for our commercial customers,” said Warren Reyburn, Executive Vice President of Line Systems, “Many of our customers seek to no longer manage and maintain their datacenter infrastructure. Colocation of production and second site resources with direct access to cloud compute, storage, and security resource pools allow for the flexibility our customers are looking for to be more competitive and resilient. With Xand datacenters on-net, LSI provides the end-to-end solution.”

As noted by Bob Hicks, SVP and GM of Xand, “Progressive enterprises have evolved towards hybrid infrastructures with dedicated servers and cloud resource pools delivering common architecture that can be tailored for specific needs, scale more rapidly adding resiliency, and provide disaster recovery capability. Our partnership with LSI provides a seamless path to these services as the network integration is the critical link to successful outsourced production and second site service.”
