SambaNova Systems Appoints Matt Taylor as VP of Strategic Sales and Partnerships
PALO ALTO, Calif., Sept. 22, 2021 – SambaNova Systems, a company building advanced software, hardware and services to run AI applications, today announced the appointment of Matt Taylor as VP of Strategic Sales and Partnerships to expand cloud, hybrid and on-premise AI deployments and accelerate adoption of SambaNova’s extensible AI services platform, Dataflow-as-a-Service.
Taylor brings to SambaNova more than a decade of experience at large technology enterprises and early-stage growth companies, where he worked with customers and partners to adopt the latest advancements in computing technology and expand their presence across global markets. At SambaNova, he will lead an existing strategic sales team to advance Dataflow-as-a-Service among the next wave of cloud providers — empowering enterprises and organizations across the world to deploy the most advanced AI solutions with simple, turnkey services.
Taylor joins SambaNova from Ampere, where he led worldwide sales and business development at the semiconductor startup, working alongside top cloud and enterprise customers. He previously served as VP of Sales and Business Development at Qualcomm, and held several sales positions at Intel, which included managing the company’s multi-faceted relationship with Amazon.

In recent months, SambaNova has rapidly expanded its talent bench, with the addition of Prabhdeep Singh as VP of Software Development and Poonacha Kongetira as VP of Hardware earlier this month. In addition, CMO Amy Love and advisory board member Wade Shen both joined the company in July.
