AI Food Tech Company Spoon Guru Appoints Viv Craske to Lead US Growth 

February 19, 2020 -- London-based AI food technology start-up Spoon Guru, is strengthening its leadership team in the U.S. by appointing Viv Craske as Senior Vice President of Commercial Development, to expand the strategy and sales team.

The new appointment starting in February 2020, follows Spoon Guru’s rapid international growth across Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands - with a key focus for 2020 on Craske expanding the U.S. territory. Craske’s role will include supporting the rollout state by state and strategic partnerships with U.S. retailers. Spoon Guru currently has heavyweight partnerships with international retailers including Tesco, Woolworths and Albert Heijn.

Craske’s broad experience includes selling data products into grocery retailers having built the sales team as Business Development Director and Managing Director at leading food tech startups including mySupermarket.  

“I am thrilled to be joining Spoon Guru’s leadership team and capitalising on the company’s expansion”, says Viv Craske. “My role will include driving the business forward by scaling sales operations in the U.S., driving brand awareness, along with growing revenue across territories and the company’s market share.”

A respected figure in the food industry, Craske previously worked as an adviser on digital strategy for leading retailers and most of the leading CPGs. He is also an expert in digital marketing having set up his own agency and penning a book titled, ‘Surviving Digital Disruption’.

“I’m looking forward to helping partners see significant increases in consumer conversion rates, basket size, return rates and customer lifetime value through Spoon Guru’s food discovery AI platform,” adds Craske.
