EdgePresence CEO to Speak at PTC’20 on the Impact of 5G 

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Jan. 15, 2020 -- EdgePresence, an owner and operator of multi-tenant, edge computing points-of-presence (PoPs), providing space, power, bandwidth, or interconnection, announces today that its CEO, Doug Recker, will join the panel titled, “The Impact of 5G: The Last Mile Doesn’t Need a Wire to be in the Fast Lane” at PTC’20: Vision 2020 and Beyond, on Sunday, Jan. 19 from 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. PTC’20 will take place on Jan. 19-21, 2020 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village® Waikiki Beach Resort in Honolulu.

Mr. Recker’s panel, The Impact of 5G: The Last Mile Doesn't Need a Wire to be in the Fast Lane, occurring in the MPCC, South Pacific 3 at the PTC’20 conference, will focus on the digitized world and how 5G– the enabler for fixed wireless to connect the last mile, delivering on the promise of speed and capacity at the rural edge– will impact the last mile of connectivity and become a game-changer. The panel will be moderated by Joseph Reele, VP, Solution Architects for Schneider Electric, sponsor of the panel. In addition to Mr. Recker, panelist Steve Szabo, Head of Global Products & Solutions - Internet of Things for Verizon, will also participate in this important and timely discussion.
