Cirrascale Cloud Services Expands Footprint in California; Adds Data Center in Silicon Valley

DENVER, Nov. 21, 2019 — Cirrascale Cloud Services, a premier cloud services provider of deep learning infrastructure solutions for Autonomous Vehicle, Medical Imaging, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) workflows, today announced it has expanded its operations in its US-West region by adding a second data center location in California. The expansion enables Cirrascale to provide additional cloud resources for its large installed base in Silicon Valley. The new data center provides lower latency and high bandwidth options at a reduced cost for the petabytes of data its customers need to store, access, and maintain.

“With our concentration on autonomous vehicle and NLP workflows has come a large centralization of customers located in and around Silicon Valley,” said Mike LaPan, vice president, Cirrascale Cloud Services. “Expanding our US-West operations to include a data center in Northern California enables us to deliver the performant storage requirements these customers need while reducing overall latency. Additionally, it has allowed us to further extend our NVIDIA DGX cloud services offering into another certified DGX-Ready Data Center.”

Cirrascale Cloud Services offers cost effective, high-speed cloud infrastructure solutions such as workstations, GPU servers, object storage, and NVMe hot-tier storage for deep learning workflows. Servers and storage are connected via high-speed infrastructure such as 100Gb ethernet or InfiniBand networking and can be managed and scheduled using services such as Kubernetes. For its operations in its new US-West-2 facility, Cirrascale is partnering with Colovore to handle its high-density, multi-GPU server and storage colocation requirements. Colovore’s liquid-cooled data center is optimized for the deployment of dense HPC infrastructure with wall-to-wall power and cooling densities up to 50kW per rack and is a certified NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center facility, with close to 1,000 DGX servers already in operation.

“We’re excited to be partnering with Cirrascale as they continue to grow their cloud infrastructure solutions for the artificial intelligence community,” said Ben Coughlin, co-founder, Colovore. “Our high-density colocation facility will enable Cirrascale and its customers to deploy, manage, and scale their GPU infrastructure and AI applications in the most cost and operationally-efficient manner possible.”

Cirrascale Cloud Services is already in operation at the US-West-2 facility in Silicon Valley and its cloud infrastructure is available for immediate use from that location. Customers interested in using the cloud service are encouraged to visit https://www.cirrascale.com to sign up.
