Lenovo and RAIDIX Deliver Joint High-Performance Storage Systems

September 26, 2019 -- The clients are impressed by the level of performance and options of flexible scaling, corresponding to an expanding amount of recorded and generated data. Storage systems are set up in hardly accessible remote locations, demanding special attention from engineering support teams. Joint storage systems, based on Lenovo ThinkSystem servers and RAIDIX 4.X software, were developed for video surveillance projects and backups.

Lenovo-RAIDIX storage systems are designed in three different levels (Low End, Mid-Range and High End) with max. storage capacity ranging from 169 Tb (Low End) to 9408 Tb (High-End Storage). Hardware of the storage includes Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 rack server and Lenovo Storage D3284 drive enclosures (for Mid-Range and High-End levels). Employing high-density drive enclosures and RAIDIX 4.X innovative software technologies allow significantly reduce TCO of the systems.

High level of accessibility is ensured by the record recovery speed of software RAID and guaranteed reliability of Lenovo hardware. Unique RAID 7.3 and RAID N+M technologies, developed by RAIDIX company, ensure accessibility and protection of data integrity.

RAIDIX-Lenovo collaborative work started back in 2018 when both parties signed a memorandum regarding a strategic partnership to facilitate the integration of the storage products and encourage the commercial success of the solutions.
