Microway Appoints Lorne Wilson as COO 

Plymouth, Mass. September 9, 2019 – Microway, a leading provider of fully integrated and validated computational clusters, servers, and workstations for AI and HPC, announces the appointment of Lorne Wilson as Chief Operating Officer. Wilson brings more than 20 years of executive management experience in the information technology industry and will bolster Microway’s strong growth trajectory with his proven abilities in operational leadership.

In his role as COO at Microway, Wilson will oversee many facets of the business and spearhead collaboration for the development and implementation of effective growth strategies. His responsibilities include setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth, ensuring the achievement of business objectives, and measuring effectiveness of all processes.

Wilson brings executive leadership in international sales, strategic partnerships, marketing and new product development to this leading computer manufacturer. Wilson’s previous roles include Vice President at Boxx Technologies, Chief Sales Officer with BluStor, and more than 12 years as a Senior Vice President at Fujitsu. He has demonstrated an ability to exceed revenue targets, provide leadership, and implement successful go-to-market campaigns.

He previously served as Co-Chair of the NVIDIA® Partner Network (NPN) Partner Advisory Council, HPC. Microway is an NVIDIA NPN Elite Solution Provider.
