The Arm Research Summit is coming to the USA for the first time this year! The multidisciplinary research-focused event will be taking place in Austin, Texas between 15-18 September 2019, and the program will include talks, workshops, demos and plenty of networking opportunities.

The Summit is now in its fourth year, and offers a unique forum where academics, researchers and industry experts come together to discuss their own projects, discover the latest developments across a wide range of different fields, and make new connections for future collaborative opportunities.

The theme of the 2019 Summit is ‘Discovery through Diversity: Addressing tomorrow’s challenges, together’, and will focus on the importance of collaboration across multiple disciplines to address ever more complex computing challenges. The multi-day agenda will include keynote talks, presentations, workshops and demos from experts across all fields of technology research, as well as plenty of all-important networking opportunities. All this will be taking place in downtown Austin at the Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol.

The program will include an Arm HPC User Group workshop, where attendees will benefit from the first-hand knowledge of experienced scientific application programmers building codes for the Arm platform, including topics such as: optimizing for 64-bit Arm, memory systems, scalability and vectorization. It brings together HPC software and hardware engineers, scientists, tool developers, and academic and industry partners into a single venue to share their experiences and successes. This workshop is the perfect place for anybody interested in Arm HPC to help them improve their understanding of the growing Arm HPC ecosystem and how it can enable successful HPC deployments.

Early-bird registration will be opening soon, so be sure to register your interest soon as limited places are available.

We hope you can join us at the first US Summit, and look forward to welcoming colleagues from all over the world to learn from each other and inspire even more exciting developments across our industry.
