Survalent Technology Commissions New SCADA System for Entegrus Datacenter
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Aug. 2 -- Survalent Technology, the most trusted provider of smart grid solutions for the control room, announced today that it has commissioned a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the Entegrus Data Center in Ontario.
Entegrus operates one of the first publicly available Gold-LEED certified Green Data Centers in Canada. Their highly secure, high-tech and energy-efficient facility provides Data Center services to clients across Southwestern Ontario. The newly commissioned Survalent SCADA system has been deployed to aid in managing end to end operations.
The new system features Survalent’s highly available, open-architecture system based on Windows Server. It includes several of Survalent's open system applications, including: WorldView, IED Wizard and Control Panel, SCADA Add-In, SNMP, Command Sequencing, Remote Alarm Annunciation, System Configuration Status, Master/Slave Alarm Suppression, Virtual RTU, WebSurv, and SCADA Replicator.
