Video: Oldie but Goodie – 6 Rules of the Road to Manufacturing Excellence 

Here’s a snappy little video from the Manufacturing Executive web site that evidently ranks among their long time viewing favorites.  Titled “Manufacturing Execution Systems & Beyond – The 6 Rules of the Road to Manufacturing Excellence,” the 3.38 minute video focues on some of the fundamentals to sucessful manufacturing.

Manufacturing Executive, which positions itself as “The Global Community for Manufacturing Leadership,” articulates its mission this way: “…to connect, educate, and support a global community of executives working within the manufacturing ecosystem to build a stronger, more vibrant manufacturing industry worldwide.” 

It includes two core groups: a Manufacturing Leadership Council made up of manufacturing executives; and a Manufacturing Executive Online Community that uses the organizations social network platform, crowdsourcing tool, articles, blogs and other rich content to communicate and collaborate.

The video has been around for a while, but it’s still valid. It nicely complements the organization’s mission.  Enjoy.
